Trip Itinerary

Arrive at the Tribhuwan International Airport where you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. This day is simply an arrival day and there will be no organised activities. So, you will have some free time to relax or walk around for local sights. A pre-departure meeting will be held early evening and you will be introduced with your trekking guide. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu

After breakfast, we will take you for a day tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu Valley. The tour will give you a mixed insight into the history, culture, art, architecture, and spirituality of Kathmandu Valley. The sites include Swoyambhunath, aka Monkey Temple, The oldest of all places in Kathmandu Valley. Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site with over two thousand years of history. This site has gained a popular name as a monkey temple, as this small forested hill is a suitable habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience. Patan City, including Patan Durbar Square: A tour of the medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight into ethnic Newari culture, Buddhist spirituality, religious harmony, art, and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skills of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm. Boudhanath Stupa: The largest in the world, this magnificent stupa is a significant centre of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is a lovely Circular Square with a stunning stupa in the middle, which spreads many spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.

Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu Airport to Lukla or however (flight operated from Ramechhap) The flight is a scenic Himalayan panoramic flight to the gorgeous mountain town of Lukla, the gateway to Everest trekking. After landing at the Lukla airport, take some time to prepare for the day's walk. Start the trek for the day today to Phakding, a beautiful town on the bank of the Dudhkoshi River. Approximately four hours of gentle walking on the Everest trail takes you to Phakding to spend overnight at a tea house.

After having breakfast at the tea house, you start the trek to the astounding Sherpa town of Namche today. Today's walk is mostly uphill, making you cover a reasonable elevation distance. You will come across many yaks, Buddhist prayer flags, trekking adventurers like you, and several other beautiful things. Once you arrive at Namche, you praise the town's charm and the Himalayan view from there more. Check into a hotel and relax.

It would be best to acclimate with the high altitude atmosphere at 3440 meters above sea level. Thus, I adjusted by doing uphill side hikes up to the Everest View Hotel and visiting Khumjung and Khunday at Hillary Hospital for an extra day at Namche. Once you return to Namche from the walk, you will also have some time to explore the charming town of Namche.

Leave Namche early in the morning after breakfast. It is a beautiful walk up Tengboche, the monastic village in the Everest base camp trekking trail. On the way to Tengboche, experience some of the spectacular views around. Once you reach Tengboche and check into a guest house, go and explore the monastery and learn about Tibetan Buddhism.

Trek to Dingboche via Diboche and Pangboche. After walking for about eight hours through beautiful mountain trails in the serene Everest trekking route, you reach Dingboche to stay overnight.

You are already 4400 meters above sea level, so you have an extra day here to acclimate to the high-altitude climate. Go for some beautiful hikes that will help you adjust your body to the thin air of the high altitude. Return to Dingboche and stay relaxed.

Trek to Lobuche after breakfast. Today's trek will take you through a Dugh La mountain pass and eventually to Lobuche. Once you are at Lobuche, you feel the Everest air even closer to you, which is invigorating.

Start the walk for the day to Gorakshep after breakfast. The walk goes along the Khumbu Glacier, the highest glacier in the world, and Changri Glacier. Once you reach Gorakshep, check into a guest house and have lunch before you hike to Everest Base Camp. Walk to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world, enjoy your moments there for a while, and return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.

The zenith of your odyssey: reaching Everest Base Camp, a mere breath away from the world's highest peak. This triumph is crowned with a thrilling helicopter ride back to Lukla, granting an unparalleled aerial panorama of the region's majesty.

As you bid the mountains farewell, a flight to Kathmandu lets you reflect on your exploits amidst the soaring giants. The city's allure invites exploration and introspection.

You will be transferred to the airport as per your flight schedule. We will pick you up from the hotel three hours before your fligh
