We start our overland journey about 7 AM in the morning heading north out of Kathmandu through scenic foothills to Syabrubesi. The first part of your drive up to Trishuli Bazaar is quite smooth. The path moves along the blacktopped road. During the rainy season, the road is sometimes blocked due to landslides. Overnight at lodge

Today is our first trekking day through Bamboo (1960m.). Some of the places make ascents and descents. At the end the trail is easy and level to the Lama Hotel. En route if we are lucky we can see red pandas, bears and monkeys. Overnight at lodge

Leaving Lama Hotel, we head for Langtang village. At Ghora Tabela the trail emerges from the forest. While walking here, we will catch a glimpse of flora and fauna. Once there was a Tibetan resettlement project, but now it is a Nepalese army post though it has no permanent inhabitants. The trail continues to climb gently and the valley widens, passing a few temporary settlements used by herders who bring their livestock to graze in the high pastures during the summer. We can visit a monastery on the way to Langtang. Overnight at lodge

Today you climb slowly through small villages and Yak pastures as the valley opens out further and the views become more extensive. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyangjin. Overnight at lodge

This day is reserved for rest and to explore the surrounding area. You will visit the Kyangjin monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m), directly at the rear of the village for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peaks or We can make day trip to Tseguri as well. Today we follow a wonderful trail to reach at holy Gosainkunda Lake passing through Cholagpati and Lauribinayak. This area is the homeland of the Tamangs and Bhotias. Here we spend a short time observing rural mountain lifestyles and the cultural contrasts between Hindu and Buddhist villages. In the evening we are able to simply relax or take a walk around the lake and surrounding area. Overnight at lodge

The trail leads to northern part of Gosainkunda and then we embark on the challenging the Laurebinayak pass at 4,600m.After 4 to 5 hours of trekking we arrive at Ghopte for overnight stay at lodge.

After breakfast today, we are onward on a challenging train, passing through groves of juniper, rhododendron, and pine in a remote beaten area before we reach the peaceful highland setting of Tharepati. From Tharepati, the path descends gently through the forest on the southern slope of a ridge; after walking for a while, the trail goes directly on the ridge. We will then pass a large meadow with ruins of shepherd's huts. We will also see stunning views of Gangchempo and Dorje Lakpa peaks, and then the descent gets steeper and leads through a forest to Magin Goth (3265m). After a short walk, we will pass Kuala Bhanjyang (3335 m) and go on a long descent through a rhododendron forest to reach the village of Kutumsang, located in the central region of Nepal, northwest of Kathmandu, the capital city.
