Trip Itinerary

Your trip day starts today when you arrive to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be received by our representative at the airport. He will be carrying a signboard with our company’s name on it. Then you will be transferred to the tour hotel and checked in. A trip briefing will follow later today and the time will be notified to you by the representative who picks you up from the airport. We will come to meet and brief you about the trip at the fixed time. Until then just relax or explore a bit of surrounding.

The tour will give you a mixed insight of history, culture, art, architecture and spirituality of Kathmandu valley. The sites include; Swoyambhunath aka Monkey Temple: The oldest of all sites in Kathmandu valley, Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site having the history over two thousand years old. This site has gained a popular name as monkey temple as this small forested hill is a good habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience. Patan City including Patan Durbar Square: A tour to medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight about ethnic Newari culture, Budhhist spirituality, religious harmony, art and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skill of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm. Boudhanath Stupa: The largest of its kind in the world, this magnificent stupa is a very important center of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is nice Circular Square with the stunning stupa in the middle of it which spreads a lot of spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.

Drive through beautiful countryside of Nepal enjoying the natural wonders. Drive via Dhading Bensi, Aarughat and the road passes through forested area, ethnic Gurung village, rice terraces, uphill and downhill. Reach Machha Khola and stay overnight there.

The trail winds up and down the hill through various types of terrains which takes you to a natural hot spring. You cross several suspension bridges today over the Budhi Gandaki river to reach Jagat where you will spend overnight.


The trail today also passes through different villages and bamboo forested parts. You meet the Budhi Gandaki river on the way to cross it and the trail goes up and down the hill like the other days. After 7 hours of trekking, you reach a small but beautiful village of Deng and stay overnight there.

On the fourth day of trek, you are heading to Namrung at the elevation of 2630 meters above sea level. The trek starts after breakfast and passes through several cultural villages crossing the Budhi Gandaki river. The trail passes also through forested parts up and down the hill. You will come across some Gumbas, the Buddhist monasteries on the way. It is a great day for cultural walk. You will reach Namrung after about 7 hours of trekking. Once you reach Namrung, relax and enjoy the view of several Himalayan peaks from there. Stay overnight there.

Destination for today is Samagaun which is reached after about 7 hours of trek today. The goes through several villages with the view of Mt. Manaslu from the village of Lho. You can visit Ribung Gumba in Lho village while you enjoy the spectacular view of Manaslu. Today you will have incredible views of different mountain peaks like Himal Chuli, Ganesh Himal including Peak 29. The fascinating walk today finishes after reaching Samagaun where you will spend the night today.

You will have an acclimatization day at Samagaun today. You can explore around to know more about the local Sherpa culture and Buddhist spirituality. Visit the Buddhist Gumba, mani stones in the local surrounding. You will have an enchanting view of the Himalayan peaks and glacier. Get acquainted with the altitude here so that you are ready to move higher ahead. Overnight at Samagaun.

The trek to Samdo today is about 5 hours walk, first with a descent to the River. You will take the trail that leads you to Larkya La pass leaving the other one which goes to the Manaslu Base Camp. Traversing the trail up and down the hill through several natural wonders, you reach Samdo. Overnight stay at Samdo.

About 5 hours of walk today after breakfast takes you to Larkya Phedi also known as Dharmasala. As usual in the high mountains, the trail passes through up and down the hill crossing several streams. A slow and paced walk will give you plenty of time to immerse into the beauty of nature surrounding your walking trail and as you progress slowly towards Larkya Phedi, you will be adjusting with the high altitude climate. Overnight at Larkya Phedi. Day 11 Larkya

Rather a long day of walk today will take you to the highest elevation of the entire trip at the famous Larkya La at the elevation of 5160 meters above sea level. The walk along the glacier will give you some spectacular views of the Himalayan peaks. When you reach the pass, an unbelievable view of the Himalayas is awaiting you. After enjoying few good minutes, you start descending the trail that leads you to Bimthang. Stay overnight at Bimthang.

Today from Dharapani, you have option to take sharing jeep to Besisahar following the trail of famous Annapurna circuit due to access of the road to Dharapani. And if you wish to back to Kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitwan you could continue your destination or walk down following the Annapurna Circuit Trekking trail Besisahar, pass through several beautiful villages which will give you rich cultural experience. Eventually reach the beautiful Taal village enjoying the beauty of both Manaslu and Annapurna circuit trekking route. Overnight at Taal village.
