Sarangkot Lwang Trekking explores the nature, culture and view of mountains near Pokhara. On this trip, you will enjoy the mountain and natural wonders of the Annapurna region. This trip has a short and beautiful walking adventure through the middle hills of Nepal with views of Himalayan peaks.

While on this adventure, you will find nature and a view of the Annapurna Mountains at a magnificent expose. In addition to the mountains and nature, you will explore the cultural wonders in the local villages that you pass through and stay in. Experience the incredible cultural exploration in Kathmandu and head straight to nature in the mountains near Pokhara. Hiking in Sarangkot is a simple trek. Anybody, from children to adults, can do it. Hiking at Sarangkot is possible at any time of year. A beautiful sight is the sun's first rays hitting the mountains and making them sparkle. It goes without saying that being over 1,600 metres above sea level gives expansive glimpses of the Mountains. The viewpoint offers views of more than 20 peaks from the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu mountain ranges in the Himalayas.  This Sarangkot walk is the best one-day climb in Pokhara.

Trip Itinerary

Your trip day starts today when you arrive to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be received by our representative at the airport. He will be carrying a signboard with our company’s name on it. Then you will be transferred to the tour hotel and checked in. A trip briefing will follow later today and the time will be notified to you by the representative who picks you up from the airport. We will come to meet and brief you about the trip at the fixed time. Until then just relax or explore a bit of surrounding.


We take you for a day tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley after breakfast. The tour will give you a mixed insight of history, culture, art, architecture and spirituality of Kathmandu valley. The sites include; Swoyambhunath aka Monkey Temple: The oldest of all sites in Kathmandu valley, Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site having the history over two thousand years old. This site has gained a popular name as monkey temple as this small forested hill is a good habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience. Patan City including Patan Durbar Square: A tour to medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight about ethnic Newari culture, Budhhist spirituality, religious harmony, art and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skill of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm. Boudhanath Stupa: The largest of its kind in the world, this magnificent stupa is a very important center of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is nice Circular Square with the stunning stupa in the middle of it which spreads a lot of spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.

You will drive to Pokhara by tourist bus in the morning after breakfast. After driving for about seven hours through scenic countryside of Nepal, we reach an eloquently charming city of Pokhara. The drive will have enough stopovers necessary on the way. Once you reach Pokhara, the charm of the city will capture your attention for a good feeling of being amidst the natural wonders from close up Himalayas to the surrounding lakes. A lake nearby your hotel is a nice place to take an evening stroll and the lakeside town has lots of options to dine. Have an option to fly to Pokhara at an extra cost.

Drive early morning to Sarangkot to enjoy the close up view of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas and a spectacular sunrise over those mountains. After enjoying the sunrise, you will embark on a gentle walking adventure to Naudanda today. About 4 hours of gentle walk through local villages will bring you a chance to enjoy the local culture and beautiful surroundings. Stay overnight at a beautiful resort in Naudanda with the view of mountains.

Start the day with another beautiful morning with the view of mountains. You will be walking to Dhampus today. It will be a beautiful nature walk to the destination. Nature and local villages give you a nice experience of walking through the gentle terrain. Once you reach Dhampus and check into a mountain lodge, you will have time to enjoy the view of the mountains and explore the surroundings.

You will trek to Lwang village today after enjoying the morning view of the mountains from Dhampus village. This is another beautiful day of trek through lush nature and wonderful surroundings. Stay overnight at Lwang village where you can explore the beautiful village.


You will trek only for an hour today before you get a ride back to Pokhara. Once you are in Pokhara and check into your hotel, you will go for a beautiful boating trip on the lake. You may like to go for some adventure activities like paragliding, zip flying, ultra-light flight, bungee jumping etc. as an add-on to the trip.


Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Have an option to fly back at an extra cost. Take some leisurely walk around once you reach Kathmandu and check into hotel.
